What is Pandora Radio?

Pandora Radio is an audio streaming service available only in the United States, Australia and New Zealand. In 2014, Pandora Radio had 81.5 million active listeners in the USA and accounted for about 70% of all internet radio listening nationally.

Beginning with a prompt such as a genre or artist specification, Pandora will generate a personalised playlist for the listener, and stream the music to their PC or mobile device. The playlist is altered on the fly analysing the user’s feedback against over 400 musical attributes such as key, instrumentation and rhythm syncopation in order to select the next track, and maximize the chance that the user will enjoy it.
