What is Shazam?
Shazam is primarily a music discovery app. With the world’s largest database of music, users utilise our patented tech to find out the music they are listening to. The commercial product has evolved over the years and now Shazam is used by many brands and agencies to connect users to their content. This can be done by users Shazam’ing TV commercials, scanning images with their new Visual Recognition product, and soon using Beacon Technology which will allow users to Shazam the world around them with no need for audio.
